Theses bushes are several different Rose of Sharon plants planted together, note the different colored blooms.
This might be a common thing, but somehow I did not notice them until this fall. Even though I have been walking and driving by these exact houses for years.
My hedge has several different colors planted together (white, white/pink center, pink/pink center, purple/pink center. They are all singles. And on my wish list is to add additional colors types to my hedge.
