Listening to The Parable of the Sower and The Parable of the Talents both by Octavia E. Butler, I remembered a book I read long ago.
I had to really hunt to find it, Earth Abides by George R. Stewart. I would classify it as Dystopian more than science fiction.
That discovery reminded me of three other books I read long ago. I had to guess at all my read dates.
