Yesterday I mentioned the 9-patch corner stones for this quilt.
Here (below) is Lottie, pieced and ready to go to the long arm quilter. The backing is plain white 120” bleached muslin. The batting is Warm and White.
There is an 11” plain border all the way around the quilt. Middle tucks her bedding. The border is for tucking.
We are pleased with this quilt! However, it took quite a while to figure out we preferred Lottie in blending colors. Many blocks were made and rejected when the colors were too strong. Tomorrow’s post is about those rejected blocks.
